Steve Kapp, is the founder of nFocal and also acts as the President and Principal Consultant. His experience ranges over nineteen years of software and systems development. Much of that experience has been with embedded systems, including imaging, networking, and security. Before founding nFocal, Mr. Kapp was the CTO for EMRT Consultants where he fulfilled a variety of roles from project manager to member of the Board of Directors.

Prior to EMRT, Mr. Kapp was a practice lead in the multimedia and imaging group at Questra Consulting and a principal engineer with Picker International (now Phillips Medical Systems). Mr. Kapp's main focus is the development of complex systems and the engineering necessary to bring those systems to market.

James F. Munro received a BSEE with high honors from Michigan Technological University in 1982. He also earned an MS in Optics from the University of Rochester in 1990, and an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester, in 2000. Past positions include optical, electrical, and software engineering, up to and including the title of VP of Engineering. Mr. Munro has professional experience in the fields of phase measuring intereometry, barcode scanners, color measuring instrumentation, and spectrophotometers, rear projection television, microstructured optical films, laser range finding, 3D image capture, and cryptology. Mr. Munro is also the founder and President of Munro Ranging, LLC, located in Rochester, New York.
